Friendship Force is all about bringing people from different backgrounds together to promote peace, understanding and goodwill throughout the world. Members go on trips (journeys) all over the world to visit other Friendship Force clubs, and most times they are home-hosted. We learn about one another’s cultures and make new, lifelong friends.
Please join us on Sunday, May 31st at 3pm
for a presentation by Larry Smith
on hiking the Jesus Trail in Israel
Larry is a local historian, author, educator and conservationist
Larry Smith hiked the Jesus Trail in northern Israel in 2019. Hiking the Jesus Trail was a mix of peaceful nature walk and deeply layered history. Stretching about 50 miles from Nazareth to Capernaum, the route takes hikers through rolling hills, olive groves and quiet villages in the Galilee region of northern Israel. What makes this hike unique is the sense of walking through places tied to stories from the life of Jesus Christ. It is a place where history, faith and daily life still intersect.
Please join us for this fascinating and inspirational presentation.
