Friendship Force is all about bringing people from different backgrounds together to promote peace, understanding and goodwill throughout the world.  Members go on trips (journeys) all over the world to visit other Friendship Force clubs, and most times they are home-hosted.  We learn about one another’s cultures and make new, lifelong friends.

No Meetings in May or June, however we have 2 exciting Journeys coming up!

Outbound Journey to Japan on May 14-28

Our club will be visiting the Ota-Gunma Club and the Mie Club in Japan.  There are 10 ambassadors going on this journey and we are all very excited!  We are looking forward to meeting our home hosts and the other club members and learning a lot about the Japanese culture.

Inbound Journey from Des Moines, Iowa on June 18-25

Welcome to our ambassadors from Iowa!!  We have a week of fun activities planned for you.  We will visit the very scenic Crater Lake as well as the amazing Oregon Coast.  We will also visit the lovely local towns of Jacksonville and Ashland.   The Welcome Potluck will be on Wednesday, June 19th at 1pm at the Royal Estates Clubhouse and our Farewell Dinner will be on Monday, June 24th at 5pm at the Eagle Point Golf Course.  FFSO club members, please join us for as many activities as possible.  Please contact Gladyce about the Welcome Potluck and the Farewell Dinner, and contact Journey Director, Amy Lepon, about all other activities.  Thank you!

PARKING:  You may park in the spaces in front of the clubhouse, except where it says “Mail Only”.  You may also park on the surrounding streets, however please do not park in front of the houses directly across from the front of the clubhouse. Please do not block any driveways.
